Cover Design for YA Mystery by Australian Debut Author Begins

A murder mystery. A dead sister. Teenage drama.

Cover Concept for YA Mystery by Australian Debut Author featuring photo-composite design work by Dayna including real life photos and scans. Image features blurred spots of pink hearts and RGB glitched polaroids against a black background and dusty texture overlay

This book looks to have it all for the YA crowd and it's been so fun starting the design process. After what feels like years focussing on illustrated--or at lest, illustrated featuring--book covers, I'm enjoying flexing those old photo-composite muscles again.

I'm again working into real life photos and scans to bring to life this YA mystery. Including polaroids of my own sister and friends!

I can't wait to reveal more, but for now, the creative juices bubble away.

Need Cover Design for YA Mystery? Or something else? Say hi :)
