Kinky Aussie Debut Gets Their Book Cover Concepts

When I send off any review stage, I do hold my breath. I can count on three fingers the times I've received an Um in the past decade I've created book covers. Past thrills don't mean much when faced with a new project though. I always feel a bit fresh. Each project and vision is unique. A different journey.
So when I received messages from the lovely Krystal Lee that she's bouncing off the walls and ringing her husband to HURRY HOME NOW so she can share in her glee at her new concepts--It has me giggling while I cook my dinner too.
Excitement is infectious and it's honestly the best part of the job. Getting that confirmation you are on the right track. Getting it right. Or even better. Topping the expectations both the author, and yourself, set.

Some of the concepts in this review had me going back to true human-driven photo-composite work too as I experimented with both original photos I took and scans.
There's something about bringing a tangible human element to the work that fills a void in me that's been gasping for a while with, well, everything that's happening in the world.
I'm very keen to see which direction Krystal takes us.
